Alex began skiing at the age of 8 and joined the Gordon Skiers as soon as she moved out of the snowplough. At the age of 10, she raced in her first race abroad at the Mini Brits (British Championships for under 12s) and never looked back.

At the age of 16, Alex left school to pursue her skiing ambitions. Now at 21, she’s am a member of the British Senior Ski Team racing at World Cup and Europa Cup level.

She hopes to become a serious contender at World Cup level in the coming years and will be very proud to do so under the British flag. Alex’s season goals are to qualify for World Cup finals, achieve a top 15 finish in SL & GS then the Olympics. She’s achieved the BOA Qualification Criteria for 2018 Olympics.

Currently ranked 28th in the world in GS. She was hoping to make top 25 and qualify for World Cup Finals – still possible, as she can score WC points at the Olympics and there’s also 1 GS race left on calendar.
